There is a big concern over how someone is likely to be ejected from the list of nominees to the enrolment of the disability program. According to Fields disability program, the eligible person basically has to be disabled, be a US citizen and aged above 65 to qualify. However, the fact is not every person who has these qualities will still qualify for the disability insurance programs. Unless someone get special exemptions, people who are working in a public institution are described also not eligible for Social Security disability benefits.

They may qualify partly for being physically disabled, blind or having limited resources but will not qualify because they are in an institution that is government run.
